8:45 AM Check-In at The Cathay School

9:00 AM Departing The Cathay School

Field Trip Duration is Approximately 1.5 hours, Including 30 mins for Art Creation

11:15 Depart Air & Space Museum

12:00 pm Arrive back to The Cathay School

12:00pm – 12:30pm Pick up

 

Ages

3yrs – 5yrs – Must be Accompanied by One Guardian

6yrs+ – No Guardian Required 

Additional Guardians Cost $10.00 Per Person

 

What to bring:

1) Backpack including:

2) Approximate 8” x 10” Sketch book

3) 2 Pencils with erasers

4) Water (must be bottled)

Explore spacecraft, different technologies and the development and history of flight at the National Smithsonian Museum!During the trip, students will explore spacecraft, different technologies and the development and history of flight. The trip will be a valued art educational experience as it will encourage students to make critical observations and translate their experience into artwork through guided sketching. Observations, brainstorming and experiencing a new environment will be interpreted through the child’s artwork.

Price: 50 dollars.
